Unlocking the Potential of Open Data
Join us for an afternoon of conversation, debate and action! We are excited to be bringing together the thought leaders; data experts and developers from the Sector to both present and answer questions . Presentations include:
- David Kane Research Officer at NCVO All roads lead to Open Data
- Keiron Kirkland Development Research Manager at the Nominet Trust State of the Art Review: Open data and charities
Action Focussed Sessions
These session will run twice so all delegates will have the chance to see both presentations.
We will aim to do 3 things:
1. Provide clear and concise perspectives answering the question ‘what does Open Data mean?’
2. Give great examples of how Open Data has been used by the sector and,
3. Make practical suggestions of ways to go forward, looking at where to start with using Open Data.
The afternoon will begin with the Lasa Spectrogram so come prepared to stick your flag to the pole! Our speed geek sessions will follow the presentations giving delegates an opportunity to to talk in more depth about the issues and get practical advice.
